Proposals and Reflections of a Senior Developer for 2023
I finish the year with a small post that I hope will be useful in which I express what has been going through my head to improve and be more efficient in my work to have more free time and live better, which is what it is all about.
This year I have rethought many things, and I am clear that although I like the world of software development, if I were a millionaire and did not have to report to a boss to earn a salary would not spend a minimum of 8 hours every day in front of a screen.
Here are my proposals to have more free time and be better at software development:
Work less and better
It’s hard to believe, but even at this point, sometimes it’s hard for me to stop and think about how to do something, and I start to code right away, knowing that I will have to redo something because I didn’t think it through before. The year has ended, and I have applied the idea of taking some time before doing something and thinking about the repercussions it may have.
